Technological capacities

- radial turning, cylindrical turning, taper turning and profile turning of inner and outer contours of bodies of revolution;
- semi-finish and finish turning of surfaces at a constant cutting velocity;
- threading by means of cutting tool on the inner and outer contours of the surfaces of revolution;
- cutting of various grooves and cutting-off;
- various types of special processing (grinding, knurling, notching etc.) on the surfaces of revolution;
- drilling, boring, countersinking and reaming of holes which are situated on the face planes of the part.

Intellectual capacities

On this machine tools are applied various control systems:
- Siemens, omron, fagor.

Peculiarities of design of this model of the vertical turning lathes are its rigidity and durability.


Single-column configuration (1200-1600 mm) of the machine tool is equipped with the hydrodynamic guideways of the spindle, vertical tool head with the 5-station turret. The turret is revolved and fixed automatic on every position. It allows to process workpieces without losing time for tool change. High accuracy and stability of fixation of the turret is guaranteed.


It is possible to install side tool head. Machine tool can be furnished with digital readout device.


Double-column configuration (2500-3200 mm) of the machine tool is equipped with the hydrodynamic guideways of the spindle, two boring tool heads or one boring and one turret tool head. Tool head is moved along hardened guideways.

Model VE is the basic model of the vertical turning lathes. Peculiarities of design of this model are its rigidity and durability.


Single-column configuration (1200-1600 mm) of the machine tool can be equipped with spindle unit with precision bearing or hydrostatic guideways, vertical tool head with the 5-station turret.


Double-column configuration (2500-3200 mm) of the machine tool can be equipped with hydrodynamic guideways of the spindle. It is possible to equip the machine tool with two boring tool heads or a boring tool head and a turret. Tool head is moved along hardened guideways by means of bearings. It is also possible to install additional side tool head.


For machining the nickel-base and titanium-base materials is applied tool cooling system with pressure level up to 100 bar. Using of high pressure helps significantly to reduce amount of twisted chips and to enlarge tool resistance.

The main distinguishing features of the ''standard'' model from the “basic” model are more advanced arrangement of the machine tool, structural stiffness. This makes it possible to machine parts with double mass increase regarding the “basic” model.


Technological capacities are enlarged through the applying of tool magazine. There is a capability to recharge the tool magazine without the need to stop the workpiece program. Measuring devices for the tool control and the part control can be applied.


For processing workpieces with diameter from 1200 to 1600 mm there is single-column configuration in which is applied spindle crossed taper roller bearing. For processing workpieces with diameter from 2500 to 3200 mm there is double-column configuration in which is applied hydrostatic spindle bearing.


The design of table parts is built to accommodate and to process vibration-free of large-scale parts at high dynamic loads. Tool head is moved along hardened guideways by means of bearings.

Exclusive model VT has rigid thermo-symmetric structure of the gantry and the base.

The tool head and ram are moved over hydrostatic slide ways. The machine tool gantry takes the total load from the masses of movable and fixed components and parts which are installed on it and also from the cutting forces. The table takes the load from all the machine tool components and from the cutting forces by machining. It has a hydrostatic spindle bearing. The optimal distance between the guideways guarantees maximum productivity by the cutting.


Various machine tool configurations (dimensions of the machining zone, dimensions of the ram section, intellectual capacities, measuring systems, accessories) allows one to perform various tasks: from high precision finishing to powerful cutting.

Special model VK is intended for the production of railway wheels, bands, axle-boxes and other parts of transport engineering. Its main characteristics are high rigidity, accuracy, productivity.


During the machining process can be applied different types of tool heads: a boring tool head, a boring and a turning tool head, two turning tool heads (interface Capto C10) with the tool change in tool magazines (12 units in a magazine), simultaneous processing by means of two vertical and two side tool heads. On the machine tool is installed self-adaptive faceplate with the hydraulic part clamping device.


Railroad wheels complete processing from both sides is achieved within 17 minutes.
